Campaigns let you reach out to your contacts proactively — instead of waiting for them to message you first. Send a product announcement to thousands of WhatsApp contacts, or a quick follow-up to a single lead on Instagram.
Why use campaigns?
Section titled “Why use campaigns?”AI agents are great at answering incoming questions, but sometimes you need to start the conversation:
- Announcements — new product launches, feature updates, or policy changes.
- Promotions — time-limited offers, discount codes, seasonal sales.
- Follow-ups — re-engage contacts who haven’t interacted recently.
- Direct outreach — send a personalized message to a specific contact.
Campaigns track every delivery, so you always know who received your message and how many credits were spent.

Accessing campaigns
Section titled “Accessing campaigns”Campaigns is available from the main navigation menu — you don’t need to select an agent first. The campaign wizard lets you choose which agent to send from during creation.
Audience selection
Section titled “Audience selection”Choose who receives your campaign:
- All Contacts — target every contact available on the selected channel. Preview recipients before sending and exclude specific contacts if needed.
- Filtered — narrow down by tags, creation date, or other criteria. Great for targeting segments like “VIP” or “new this month”.
- Manual — hand-pick individual contacts from a search. Required for direct messages and session-window channels.
Delivery tracking
Section titled “Delivery tracking”After sending, the campaign detail panel shows:
- Total Sent — messages successfully delivered.
- Total Failed — messages that couldn’t be delivered.
- Total Credits Used — credits consumed by the campaign.
- Delivery list — per-recipient status (Sent or Failed) with export to CSV.
During sending, a live progress bar shows how many messages have been delivered so far.
Best practices
Section titled “Best practices”- Use WhatsApp Templates for broad reach — templates work regardless of the session window, making them ideal for broadcasts.
- Check your credit balance first — the review step shows the estimated cost before you send.
- Preview your audience — always review the recipient list before sending, especially with the “All Contacts” option.
- Start small — test with a few contacts before sending to your entire list.
- Use filters to segment — tag your contacts and use filtered audiences to send relevant messages to the right people.
